This song reminds me of every post-communist block-building infested city, with those abandoned small parks and that typical metal swing, in Russia, Poland, Ukraine, Slovakia etc. Greetings from Poland.
I remember swinging on those swings when I was 6 in Russia. My grandpa was always eager to take me to the park because then he had an excuse to go and drink vodka with his old "police" friends. One thing I do remember is how many times the swings broke and I busted my ass. And also the homeless kids from "internat" I think it's called, that I would always be hanging out with. They were dirty, ripped clothes, and had very brutal stories of beatings and parents deaths and so on. Now that I think about all of this I had no idea how I remained so happy during my childhood. This is the beauty of innocence. Doesn't matter what kind of environment you're in, you naturally radiate a glowing energy and bring happiness to misery. I'm 26 and I already understand why people want kids. They want to experience that purity and innocence through someone else again. Our whole lives we chase that which we had during childhood, ironically.

Well, this is amazing! I like V. R. Tsoj and this version is 100 % super! I was born in Czechoslovakia in 1985, so I was only 6, when The USSR colapsed. And Viktor Robertovic left the world of livings so soon, I could not fly to Russia, purchase ticket to his performance, go to The Olympic stadion in Moscow and enjoy poweerful atmosphere. This music is close to my Slavic heart. And there is also another advantage for folks, who learn Russian like me: This version is better understood because it is slower than the original. Greetings from Prague, stay safe and be healthy!
The second verse is filled with Russian phraseological units. It is very difficult to translate accurately. You can convey their meaning, but that is not the same.

I live in small town and since when i was 9 everytime i go outside i got bulied bc of my look and different interests and i find it more and more hard to speak with people. Im trying to work on myself but its hard. Only time that i feel a litle bit comfortable outside is late night walking in random empty streets. When i move out in bigger city i hope i can leave all memories behind me and star all over. Im 19 now.

I think if you like this doomer thematic of russia, you would be interested to watch the movie брат/brat. It is about russia in the 90s, and it depicts the time greatly. If you dont know about russias 90s, well it was full of banditous groups, and so called "разборки" (cant translate) occurred very often. It was generally poor, and full of absolute scum like gopniks. I know for slavaboos they are like a part of slavic culture and is often associated with squatting and semechki, which is right partially, but quite wrong (basically a western/slavaboo steriotype for slavs). Basically they were poor people, that drunk a lot, were very agressive, and could mug you quite easily, and their general behaviour was hard to call human. 90s were the transition from soviet union, to trying to be more western. Average russians were very simple people with a lot of stetiotypes. For example they didnt really like jews (a moment in the movie) just because. I know for a westerner to understand the movie would be very hard, because the cultures differ a LOT. You can try, I think there is a verison with subtitle on youtube.
In the poor North east england we have "chavs" everywhere. Same as gopniks but the english version.

this beautifies lithuanians 37.6 now 26.4 suicide rate as a ex soviet country, being the highest in eu and top 3 in the world while only having around 2.8 mil people as a population, i also recently found out that it has the highest homocide rate in eu, kino literally just describes the emotional atmosphere of the slavic region, growing up there and being half russian gives a me sense of 'it is what it is'
